“Captain Jack” Jaknovich was born in the United States and has been exploring the world as traveler and mariner since he was fifteen years old. He attended a maritime academy as part of his training to become a Master Mariner. His background has also included several accidents and medical events with prolonged hospital stays and medical treatment in numerous countries. Jaknovich lives in the United States and sails as a Licensed Deck Officer on containerships plying the oceans.
